Overview TomsBurg Surveillance is seeking dependable and technically skilled Security Systems Technicians to join our installation and service team. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and servicing commercial security and low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as as part of an installation crew and should take pride in performing clean, professional, and reliable work.

Pay:
$25 - $30/hr Service areas : DMV In this role, you will: Install and service CCTV/IP cameras, NVRs, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, and related security systems. Pull, terminate, label, and test CAT6, Banana access control cabling. Install card readers, door contacts, REX devices, electric strikes, magnetic locks, and control panels. Configure IP cameras, NVRs, PoE switches, and basic network settings. Troubleshoot wiring, power, network connectivity, and system equipment. Read floor plans, security drawings, and wiring diagrams. Install conduit and raceway when required. Use ladders and lifts and follow all job-site safety requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members. What You Need 2+ years of hands-on low-voltage or security systems installation experience required. Experience installing and troubleshooting CCTV/IP surveillance systems. Working knowledge of access-control systems. Basic understanding of IP networking, PoE, switches, and IP addressing. Ability to read construction blueprints and security plans. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license. Ability to meet applicable licensing and background check.
