Duties Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage electrical systems including security alarms, CCTV surveillance, access control, fire alarm systems, sensors, and telecommunication networks. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to execute precise system layouts and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Supervise field service activities, ensuring all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols. Coordinate with clients to assess system requirements, provide technical troubleshooting support, and deliver tailored solutions that meet their security and operational needs. Manage cabling projects involving low-voltage wiring, equipment troubleshooting, and system design enhancements for optimal performance. Mentor and oversee junior technicians in technical procedures, safety practices, and customer service excellence. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, schematics, service reports, and compliance records for audit readiness. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair tasks. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints related to low-voltage electrical systems. Extensive field service experience with low-voltage electrical wiring, equipment troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Knowledge of security systems including alarm & access control systems, CCTV surveillance cameras, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), fire alarm systems, and door security integration. Familiarity with computer hardware setup, remote access software applications, network cabling, computer networking principles, and telecommunication infrastructure. Ability to read electrical blueprints accurately while understanding NEC standards for safe electrical practices. Experience in construction environments or large-scale facilities requiring complex system design or integration projects. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and technical support during installations or troubleshooting sessions. Knowledge of locksmithing principles related to door security system integration and physical security measures.
