Job Description Altus is a full-service fire and life safety services platform. We offer a complete suite of solutions, from the design, engineering, installation, and servicing of state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems to training, consulting, crisis management and business continuity services. Adcock Systems, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, located in Lanham, MD is looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! The Fire Alarm Technician is primarily responsible for testing, inspecting and servicing fire alarm systems. We value our well-being just as much as our hard work. Hourly Rate:
$55.00/hour - $63.00/hour Responsibilities Service and test fire alarm and life safety systems. Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems. Inspect, adjust, clean and calibrate, ensuring systems are in excellent working order. Complete within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving zero callbacks. Work assignments are to be performed in a safe manner and within specified cost limits. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2+ years experience as licensed fire alarm technician. Must have a valid Fire Alarm license in MD. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines. All applicants will undergo a comprehensive background check. Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation. Report to assigned job site location on time, as directed. Maintain and properly store tools, materials, and equipment. Current Union Members preferred
Hourly Rate:
$55.00/hour - $63.00/hour
