Fire Sprinkler Technician Job Overview:
Join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire protection systems. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA 25 standards. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Pay based on experience. On the job training provided if necessary.
Duties:
  • Conduct installations and maintenance of fire protection systems following NFPA standards.
  • Perform repairs on fire sprinkler system deficiencies.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in rigging, caliper usage, blueprint reading, and operating power tools.
  • Experience in pipe threading, interpreting schematics, pipeline work, and tube bending.
Job Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and utilize standard personal protective equipment as required.
  • Capable of lifting at least 25 pounds and working on overhead equipment.
  • Operational knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and basic understanding of fire alarm systems.
  • Previous experience in fire sprinkler installation, design, or inspection field.
Desired Experience:
  • Advanced operational knowledge of fire sprinkler systems.
  • NICET I, II or III Certification in Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of Water-Based Systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of service trade is advantageous.
