Location:

1938 Innerbelt Business Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63114 We are looking for Level 2 Electronic Security Systems Technicians for an immediate commercial opportunity in St. Louis. This is a great fit for technicians with some field experience who are looking to continue developing their skills in electronic security. Level 2 technicians can have slightly less experience, but must have a solid foundation in low voltage/electronic security work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Install and service electronic security systems , including intrusion, access control, cameras, and integrated systems. Wire both new construction and existing structures for security systems. Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Diagnose system failures and determine the appropriate corrective action. Troubleshoot, repair, update, upgrade, and maintain electronic security systems. Provide customers with basic training on system operation, troubleshooting, and programming features. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality requirements. Accurately document work performed, issues identified, and corrective actions taken.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as an Electronic Security Systems Technician preferred. Low-voltage, electrical/electronics, and construction knowledge. Understanding of proper wiring methods and wiring according to code. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, schematics, and project documentation . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong customer service and communication skills. Technologically driven and willing to learn new security technologies. Strong work ethic and career-oriented mindset.

PHYSICAL / WORK REQUIREMENTS

Technicians must be able to: Lift and carry 50+ pounds . Work in confined spaces including attics, basements, and crawl spaces. Feed and manipulate wire and assemble system components. Climb and descend ladders. Operate hand tools. Drive trucks and large vans and haul trailers as required.
