Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking to hire multiple Security Technician's for a project in Omaha, Nebraska. We are seeking Security Technician II's to support an installation and deployment project for a large commercial project. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and support of electronic security systems. We are looking for experience in access control, CCTV, low-voltage cabling, and physical security system installations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and enjoys working in a team-oriented construction environment.

These roles are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and may involve outside plant and inside plant cable pulling (OSP/ISP), structured/network cabling, or security and camera cabling, depending on project need. Technicians will ensure all systems are installed to meet strict security and compliance standards required in a high security facility.

This project requires 20% of night work and the typical schedule is five 10's with occasional overtime. Skills and Requirements 1-3 years of hands-on experience with security installation at mission critical facility, secure, or commercial facilitiesHands-on experience installing and servicing CCTV systems, cameras, and video surveillance equipmentExperience with access control systems (badge readers, door hardware, door controllers, mag locks, REX devicesLow-Voltage Cabling experience (pulling, terminating, labeling, testing Cat5e/Cat6)Experience installing Physical Security SystemsStrong understanding of industry safety standards and site protocols as well as comfortable working in active, controlled environments and following site proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a crewClean driving record and able to pass required background checkExperience working in hyperscale or enterprise data centersFamiliarity with major security platforms (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, etc.)Certifications in security systems or low-voltage work (BICSI, manufacturer certs, OSHA 10/30) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
