Fire Alarm Technician

Low Voltage Security Technician (Fire Alarm Focus) Overview Our customer is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in fire alarm systems installation and service , along with a well-rounded experience in electronic security systems. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems (various brands and configurations) Perform installation and troubleshooting of: Intrusion alarm systems Access control systems CCTV and surveillance systems Conduct system testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently Interact professionally with end users, ensuring excellent customer service Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in fire alarm installation and service Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems , including alarms, access control, and cameras Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience working with a variety of fire alarm platforms and manufacturers Additional experience in integrated security systems is a plus Professional Requirements Must be professional and presentable when interacting with clients and end users Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience are essential Experience Level Intermediate Why Join? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
