Armitage, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Low Voltage Technician to support our growing workload across commercial and service projects. This role is ideal for someone experienced in fire alarm, security, access control, and structured cabling systems who takes pride in quality workmanship and problem solving in the field. Why C.M.   • Install, terminate, and test low voltage systems including:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Access control systems
  • Security/camera systems
  • Intercom and communication systems
  • Perform work in all construction phases (rough-in through final commissioning)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues
  • Complete service calls and required documentation in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and customers
  • Follow all company safety protocols and jobsite requirements Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of low voltage experience (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Wiring methods, circuits, and system components
  • Low voltage cabling types and installation techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid NYS driver's license (clean record required)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work from ladders
