Low Voltage Technician Rochester, NY $18

Full-time Position:
Low Voltage Technician Pay:
$18.00- 35.
- Established local contractor with consistent Low Voltage demand
- Predictable weekday schedule
- Organized dispatch and realistic workloads

- not tied to the length of one project Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage systems including:
- Fire alarm systems
- Access control systems
- Security/camera systems
- Intercom and communication systems
- Perform work in all construction phases (rough-in through final commissioning)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues
- Complete service calls and required documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and customers
- Follow all company safety protocols and jobsite requirements Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of low voltage experience (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Wiring methods, circuits, and system components
- Low voltage cabling types and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid NYS driver's license (clean record required)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work from ladders
