Syracuse, NY area Bright Minds' industry leading technology services client is searching for an experienced Security Alarm Technician to join their dynamic and growing technician team in the Syracuse area. The ideal Security Alarm Technician candidate for this role will have experience installing and configuring Alarm and Access Control systems using Lenel S2, AMAG, Bosch, Genetec, C Cure or Axis products for physical security systems including access control systems (power supplies, control boards, electromechanical locking, and cabling), IP video systems (cable, coaxial and network cameras, network switches), powered pedestrian door operators and sliders, vehicle gate systems, audio systems, and turnstiles. This is a client-facing role so strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are key. In this position you will travel to various data centers, distribution centers, hospitals, banks, and enterprise environments and partner with clients for new installations and servicing access control, surveillance, and large security systems in the Syracuse area. Security Alarm Technician:
3-5+ years of experience designing, installing, and configuring physical security systems Strong knowledge and experience with LenelS2, DMP, Bosch, Genetec, Milestone, or Axis products and solutions LenelS2 or other security certifications are highly desired Ability to configure and deploy access control, surveillance systems, and physical security platforms such as Lenel, DMP, Bosch, Genetec, Avigilon, etc. Strong project management experience Experience and desire to lead, manage, and mentor a team of junior- to mid-level physical security technicians Ability to read blueprints and diagrams For immediate consideration, please submit your MS Word resume to amessina@hirebrightminds.com.
