Fire Alarm Technician (Ohio Licensed) $27.00-$32.00+ per Hour | Overtime Available | Full-Time Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a valid State of Ohio Fire Alarm License to join our growing team. If you have experience installing, programming, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm and other low-voltage systems, we want to hear from you! Pay & Benefits $27.00-$32.00+ per hour (based on experience) Overtime available Full-time, long-term opportunity Weekly pay On-the-job training for additional low-voltage systems Opportunity for career growth Responsibilities Install, service, program, and maintain addressable and conventional fire alarm systems Install and service burglar alarms, CCTV, access control, nurse call, paging, structured cabling, fiber optics, phone systems, and networking equipment Read blueprints, electrical drawings, and building plans Complete wiring, terminations, and equipment installations to meet customer specifications and applicable codes Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm and low-voltage systems Verify installations meet local, state, federal, and insurance requirements Install conduit and perform low-voltage wiring Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with customers Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized job site Qualifications Current State of Ohio Fire Alarm License (Required) Experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and electrical installation practices Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics Familiarity with conduit installation and hand tools Basic networking and IT knowledge Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer setup High School Diploma or GED Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn Ability to work overtime as needed Schedule Full-time 8-hour shifts Overtime available If you're a licensed Fire Alarm Technician looking for a company that values quality workmanship, safety, and professional growth, apply today with Summit Skilled Solutions!
