Job Description Serve as the dedicated onsite security technician supporting a large client campus Maintain and support Genetec access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance across 14 buildings and approximately 400 doors Respond to emergency service calls and corrective maintenance requests Perform system upgrades, modifications, and installation work Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software issues Coordinate daily with a remote Project Manager and branch technicians as needed Interface directly with end users and client stakeholders Provide training and operational guidance to users Submit daily activity reports and other required weekly/monthly documentation Track equipment inventory, service records, and system changes Participate in quality assurance inspections and process improvements Function as the "boots on the ground" technical resource for the client location We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5-8+ years of electronic security systems installation and maintenance experience Genetec Access Control Certification (Required) Genetec Video Certification (Required) Active Secret Security Clearance OR ability to obtain one U.S. Citizenship Experience with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with security hardware and software Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience reading drawings, requirements documents, and system designs Knowledge of life safety standards and building codes Comfortable with physical demands including lifting equipment and working in field environments Lenel experience Relevant trade certifications Experience supporting federal/government environments Experience on security projects valued at $100KEMT conduit installation experience Low-voltage cabling experience Ability to lead or coordinate junior technicians Knowledge of 120VAC electrical systems
