In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a wide range of security alarm systems, including electronic security, access control, CCTV surveillance, and fire alarm systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive reliable security solutions tailored to their needs. Responsibilities Install electrical security systems such as alarms, access controls, CCTV cameras, sensors, and fire alarm systems according to technical schematics and blueprints. Conduct system design assessments to determine optimal placement of sensors, cameras, and wiring for maximum coverage and security. Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage electrical wiring, computer hardware components, and telecommunication equipment related to security systems. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise installation and integration of security equipment. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on existing security systems while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cabling techniques to complete installations efficiently and safely. Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues involving networking, remote access software, and system integration. Requirements Proven experience in electrical security system installation or related field service roles with a strong understanding of low-voltage electrical wiring and circuitry. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using power tools, hand tools, and construction techniques. Familiarity with computer hardware setup, network configuration, and telecommunication systems relevant to security solutions. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret alarms & access control system layouts. Knowledge of surveillance technologies such as CCTV cameras, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and alarm & access control systems. Experience troubleshooting physical security systems including fire alarms, door security integration, and remote access software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Construction or field service experience preferred; NEC (National Electrical Code) knowledge is a plus. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between job sites as needed.
