Essential Functions include the following:

other duties may be assigned: Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems to support proper operation and alignment with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and system testing, identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions Provide on-site guidance to customers on system operation and life safety best practices Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams while serving as a technical resource Partner with project managers and internal teams to support inspections, upgrades, and system modifications Accurately document service activities, test results, and corrective actions in line with company expectations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school coursework in electronics, fire protection, or a related field is a plus 4 + years of experience Extensive knowledge of programming Willingness to obtain the appropriate State of Ohio fire alarm license NICET or other relevant certifications are highly desirable Working knowledge of NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and maintain systems Strong communication skills and attention to detail
