Fire Alarm Service TechnicianLocation:
Onsite in
Worthington, OHPay:
30-35 per hourPosition OverviewThe Fire Alarm Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role involves working closely with clients to address their fire alarm needs and provide expert technical support.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.

Install new fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

Perform routine maintenance and service on existing fire alarm systems.

Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm equipment and systems.

Test and program fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.

Work with clients to understand their fire alarm needs and provide solutions.

Maintain accurate records of service and inspections performed.

Stay current with NFPA standards and industry developments related to fire alarm systems.

QualificationsProven experience as a fire alarm technician or relevant role.

Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant codes (NFPA, OSHA, etc.).Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

NICET certification in fire alarm systems is preferred but not required.

Electrical or construction background is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
