Job Description
Job ID#26-35 This position is accountable for the proper and timely inspections, installation, service, repair, programming, and routine maintenance of fire alarm systems in such a way as to ensure quality product, client satisfaction and profit objectives. This position reports to the Fire Alarm Field Technician Supervisor Responsibilities include: o Working hours - 8:00 AM-4:30 PM o All aspects of service on fire alarm systems including device replacement, wiring repairs, circuit troubleshooting, etc. o Program fire alarm system per the specifications and design while meeting NFPA 72 code requirements. o Installation of fire alarm systems including wire runs, conduit installation, and device mounting. o Perform NFPA 72 inspection/testing of all fire alarm systems on a frequency basis. Complete required paperwork in a timely manner for submission. o Perform service calls and repair work on existing fire alarm systems. Complete all necessary paperwork related to performing service in a timely manner. o Participate in the on-call schedule for after-hours services. o Present self to all customers in a professional manner to help create and maintain good customer relations. o Participate in education and training classes.
