Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure that fire detection systems operate flawlessly, providing safety and peace of mind for clients and their properties. Responsibilities Install fire alarm systems according to blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications using hand tools, power tools, and CAD drawings. Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm components, including sensors, control panels, and low voltage wiring, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system diagrams to facilitate accurate system setup and troubleshooting. Perform construction inspection tasks related to fire alarm system integration within new or existing structures. Service and repair fire alarm systems in the field, diagnosing issues with electrical components, sensors, or wiring using mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure proper installation of fire alarm systems aligned with project specifications. Provide excellent field service support by troubleshooting alarms, replacing faulty components, and ensuring system functionality. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or installer of fire alarm systems with a strong understanding of low voltage wiring and electrical principles. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings accurately. Knowledge of system design principles for fire alarm setups and integration with other life safety systems. Familiarity with construction inspection processes related to fire alarm installation projects. Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Strong electrical experience including sensor operation, circuit troubleshooting, and

compliance standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients during installation or service calls. Valid certifications related to fire alarm systems or relevant field service experience are preferred but not mandatory.
