A locally owned and operated integration company that services the Mid-South area is looking for an experienced fire alarm technician to join our team.

TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES

Perform system installations, upgrades, takeovers, maintenance/repair, and wiring for Burglary, Fire, CCTV, Access, and other low-voltage systems Perform signal verification and system testing Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots systems and perform repairs as necessary Assist customer with downloads and device configurations, as needed Must be able to train customers on the usage of all applicable products used in installation and/or system upgrades Complete installation checklists and capture customer signatures, as required Pull low-voltage wire in new construction homes Ability to complete and pass continuing education training in low-voltage applications Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations as applicable to service, installation, maintenance of security systems and OSHA safety standards

TECHNICIAN SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent 3 -5 years of experience in fire alarm or equivalent industry Networking knowledge a plus Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required Safely move and lift materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs, and on limited occasions up to 50 lbs without assistance. Capable of frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping while working Capable to work from high places such as roofs, ceilings, ladders, as well as from crawl spaces and other limited spaces within and outside of residences and commercial businesses Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to work independently Ability to remain focused and effectively multi-task within a fast-paced & dynamic environment Ability to troubleshoot and conduct diagnostics to successfully problem solve under pressure Motivated team player with positive attitude and desire to learn and deliver high-quality work Strong customer service skills and genuine desire to interact with customers; professional appearance

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Hold a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check Apply and obtain
