We are seeking a dependable and motivated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. This position involves inspecting and servicing fire extinguishers, assisting with shop and warehouse operations, helping customers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. A current fire extinguisher license is preferred but not required. We will provide study materials and pay for certification testing for qualified applicants seeking licensing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fire extinguishers in the shop and at customer locations. Perform repairs, testing, and recharging of fire extinguishers as needed. Ensure all fire safety equipment complies with applicable regulatory and safety standards and is properly tagged and documented. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation. Assist with general shop operations and daily warehouse duties. Provide customer service and assist walk-in customers with product and service needs. Unload delivery trucks and stock incoming inventory appropriately. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, tools, and equipment. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, warehouse, and outdoor yard areas. Perform general yard work and outdoor maintenance as needed. Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations during all service and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in fire safety preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. How to
