Job Description

We are partnered with a well-established and highly respected security and life safety systems contractor who is actively seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join their growing team! Lead Fire Alarm Technician The Lead Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for overseeing installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems while leading a team of technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead a team of 4 fire alarm technicians on daily service and project activities Install, program, test, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, local regulations, and company standards Coordinate project scheduling, materials, and workload assignments Provide technical guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members Interface with customers, inspectors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, service work, and system performance Diagnose and resolve complex system issues efficiently
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, service, and troubleshooting NICET certification (preferred) or state equivalent Strong leadership and team management skills Solid knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire/life safety systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed Take the next step in your career —
