Position Summary:
- Actively driving and managing the design, drawing, and technology evaluation stage of the life safety system process, while working in conjunction with the Sales and Operations teams as the key technical advisor. The System Designer must be able to articulate technology, design and product positioning.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- + Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the design, estimating and sales cycle with Sales and Operations.
- _Qualifications - External_
Experience:
- + 5-10 years engineering fire alarm and life safety systems or other related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Certifications:
- + Knowledge of Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheet, project management, and AutoCAD required.
Education:
- + Associates degree in Electronics or other technical field or equivalent experience preferred.
NICET II
Fire Alarm Certification required. (CFPS, PE, FPE a plus) + Must have previous experience in commercial life safety system design. _Pay and Benefits Disclosure_ The budgeted pay range for this role as of November 2024 is $67,000 - $115,000 per year. This range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to tenure, previous experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic considerations.
