Job description: Fire Alarm Systems Technician /

Installer Experience:

At least 1 year of on-the-job experience installing fire alarm systems Proven ability to install all fire alarm equipment with minimal to no supervision Strong working knowledge of NFPA Codes and relevant local fire alarm codes Proficient in reading and interpreting installation plans and electrical schematics Current Texas Fire Alarm Technician license (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with major industry brands such as

Silent Knight, Firelite, Notifier, Siemens, EST, Potter Requirements:

Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record for approval to drive a company vehicle Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely from lifts, ladders, and scaffolds or at heights above 30 feet Capacity to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking significant distances while carrying equipment Ability to perform work efficiently within extreme temperature ranges Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail Flexibility with schedule changes on a daily basis Great communications skills to communicate with internal and external customers/managers

Responsibilities:

Expertly install, mount, and wire all system components, control panels, and peripheral equipment (devices/sensors) according to building plans and electrical layouts Program and configure fire alarm control panels and system software for optimal operation Conduct thorough system inspections and testing to verify all components are fully functional and compliant with safety standards Perform necessary physical tasks, including accessing tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces) and drilling for cabling, to ensure optimal wiring layouts and system performance.
