Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Fire Alarm Installer to join our dynamic team. This high-paying role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about ensuring safety and compliance through expert fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. As a Licensed Fire Alarm Installer, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing sophisticated fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will help ensure building safety standards are met in accordance with fire codes, NFPA standards, and local regulations. This position requires a proactive mindset, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems including proprietary control panels, sensors, and related components in compliance with building codes and NFPA standards Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and CAD files to accurately execute system design plans Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance Conduct system upgrades, modifications, and repairs utilizing hand tools, power tools, and engineering troubleshooting techniques Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate fire alarm systems seamlessly into building infrastructure Ensure all work adheres to fire codes, NFPA standards, NEC regulations, and low voltage electrical requirements Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures clearly to clients Requirements Valid licensing as a Fire Alarm Installer or equivalent certification with proven experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance Extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems including proprietary control panels, sensors, sprinklers systems integration, and low voltage electrical work Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and CAD files accurately Construction inspection experience combined with mechanical knowledge for seamless system integration Hands-on experience with field service operations involving troubleshooting electrical issues using engineering principles Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sensors installation, and sprinkler fitting techniques Familiarity with fire codes & regulations such as NFPA standards and local building code compliance requirements Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during installation or service visits Electrical experience including NEC compliance and electrical blueprint reading is highly preferred Knowledge of fire alarm sales processes or alarm system sales experience is a plus Prior construction or service technician experience in related fields is advantageous Join us as a Licensed Fire Alarm Installer if you're eager to apply your technical expertise in a rewarding environment that values safety excellence.
