EMPLOYMENT BEGINS

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To be responsible for installation and maintenance of all fire alarm systems. Conduct annual fire alarm system inspections..

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:

Possess a current State of Texas Fire Alarm Technician license (required) Licensed Fire Alarm Technician will receive additional compensation above minimum rate for confirmation of current/active fire alarm license.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Strong analytical and organizational skills The ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems Effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE

Direct experience in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems Direct experience in the installation and servicing of Notifier and Firelite equipment

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Responsible for installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems Provide technical assistance related to fire alarm systems issues Work with district administrators to ensure employees receive need support and training Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to work in high-pressure environment Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed Communicating well in both oral and written form, complying with time lines.

Reaching with hands and arms and frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion. Occasional lifting and /or moving of up to 50 lbs.
