Overview We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, including intrusion detection systems (IDS), fire alarms, and CCTV surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, as well as a solid understanding of computer networking and low voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems, including sensors, CCTV cameras, and fire alarms. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing security systems to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for system design and installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools for the installation of cabling and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding security systems. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate security solutions into new builds or renovations. Stay updated on industry standards, including NEC regulations, to ensure compliance during installations. Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise to potential clients. Utilize remote access software for system diagnostics and troubleshooting when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in the security or telecommunications field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with computer hardware and networking principles related to alarm systems. Understanding of low voltage electrical systems and cabling techniques. Knowledge of

technology, fire alarm systems, and surveillance equipment. Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively. Experience in locksmithing is a plus but not required.
