Key Responsibilities System Installation:

Install alarm (intrusion), access control, and IP video systems, including card readers, locks, and contacts.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Test, troubleshoot, and correct issues in security systems.

Documentation:

Read and interpret drawings and equipment schematics.

Communication:

Provide updates to project managers and customers.

Hands-On Work:

Pull low-voltage cables and perform necessary demolition tasks.

What We're Looking For Education:

High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.

Experience:

1-2 years of security installation experience preferred, or any relevant construction field experience.

Skills:

Ability to work with hand tools, read a multimeter, and operate in confined spaces and at heights.

Travel:

Willingness to travel on the East Coast if needed.

Preferred Qualifications Clearance:

Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred.

Certifications:

DCJS Certified or the ability to obtain certification.

Technical Skills:

Prior troubleshooting experience and knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project are bonuses.

System Knowledge:

Familiarity with systems like Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi is a plus.
