• Key Responsibilities

System Installation:

• Install alarm (intrusion), access control, and IP video systems, including card readers, locks, and contacts. +

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Test, troubleshoot, and correct issues in security systems. +

• Documentation:

• Read and interpret drawings and equipment schematics. +

• Communication:

• Provide updates to project managers and customers. +

• Hands-On Work:

• Pull low-voltage cables and perform necessary demolition tasks.
• What We're Looking For

Education:

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent. +

• Experience:

• 1-2 years of security installation experience preferred, or any relevant construction field experience. +

• Skills:

• Ability to work with hand tools, read a multimeter, and operate in confined spaces and at heights. +

• Travel:

• Willingness to travel on the East Coast if needed.

Clearance:

• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred. +

• Certifications:

• DCJS Certified or the ability to obtain certification. +

• Technical Skills:

• Prior troubleshooting experience and knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project are bonuses. +

• System Knowledge:

• Familiarity with systems like Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi is a plus.
