JOB DESCRIPTION
Fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance for commercial and industrial facilities Installation and service of low-voltage systems including fire alarms. NICET II-level knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and best practices Interpreting and applying local, state, and national electrical and fire codes Troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm panels, devices, and circuits Field documentation and reporting for inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions Working with UL-listed fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment Customer-facing service and communication in active commercial job sites Safe use of tools, ladders, and test equipment in occupied and construction environments Collaborating with sales, engineering, and operations teams to deliver life safety solutions Fire Inspector Service Technician - NICET I or II Full-Time | $48-$55 per hour |

Our Seattle office has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our life safety team. You'll work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to help protect our customers' people and property. Position Overview As a Fire Service Technician, you will: Perform fire alarm inspections, testing, and maintenance in commercial and industrial facilities Service and support intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national codes and UL requirements Document inspection results, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately and on time Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams Operate a company vehicle to travel to customer sites in the region Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or
GED NICET II
Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (REQUIRED) 3+ years installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems 3+ years experience with fire inspections or fire testing and working knowledge of UL systems Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, and local/national codes Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) 06 Electrical License (EL06) Vocational/technical degree in electrical, security, or computer systems ESA Alarm Technician Certificate Strong technical aptitude and advanced understanding of electronics, wiring, and code requirements What We Offer Competitive pay: $48-$55 per hour Company van for work-related travel Small company feel, big enterprise stability Clear career development and advancement opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, including: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) 6 paid holidays Interested candidates should submit their resume through Indeed or directly to our recruiting team.
