Full-time Who We Are:
A busy and well-established fleet maintenance shop is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel equipment in a professional shop environment.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines Service semi tractors, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and hydraulic systems Diagnose and repair tires, cooling systems, electrical systems, brakes (including ABS), steering, suspension, fuel injection, emissions, air intake, and electronic components Repair and replace interior components Perform drivability diagnostics Install and remove specialized equipment as needed Use computer diagnostic systems to retrieve service and repair information Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and manufacturer service manuals Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Complete parts requisitions Repair and maintain shop equipment Assist with fueling, washing, and vacuuming vehicles when needed Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Provide excellent teamwork and customer service What's In It for

Have:
At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience in a shop environment Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment Ability to use computerized diagnostic systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and repair schematics Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Own tools
The Musts:
Minimum 3 years of shop experience Valid Driver's License Good driving record Proof of personal automobile liability insurance Reliable personal transportation Ability to complete accurate repair documentation
Preferred:
Class C CDL Experience with OBD I and OBD II diagnostics Experience working on semi tractors, heavy-duty trucks, and buses
