We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Systems Technician Intern located in Fond du Lac, WI.
How you will contribute:
As a Fire Systems Technician Intern, you will assist in performing inspections and tests on special hazards systems, troubleshooting malfunctions of system wiring and equipment, and ensuring proper installation of fire protection systems. You will learn to demonstrate top-notch customer service by interacting with general contractors or other trades daily and leaving them with the satisfaction of knowing they can count on Ahern for their future needs. This position will work on systems under the direct supervision of an experienced field technician.
What you need to qualify:
Must have excellent customer service skills, safety oriented (place a focus on working safely), and be willing to travel. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. Candidates should be currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field. Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful. What's in it for you?
