Duties Perform comprehensive collision repairs including auto body restoration, structural alignment, and dent removal using advanced tools and techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to repair or fabricate sheet metal components with precision. Conduct auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition or better. Install automotive parts such as glass, panels, and mechanical components with attention to detail and safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and fabrication repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently and accurately. Assess vehicle damage through auto estimating procedures and communicate repair plans clearly to customers. Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in auto body repair and structural correction. Skilled in MIG welding, automotive welding equipment operation, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Knowledge of automotive parts installation, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repair. Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto restoration projects, sanding tools, airless paint spraying, and automotive refinishing processes. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience working as an automotive body technician or mechanic. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills along with proficiency in auto estimating and vehicle maintenance procedures.
