This position requires experience working on Hot Rods. Applicants MUST have prior experience doing bodywork and paint in the automotive industry.
Job Requirements:
- Must have own tools, paint guns, etc.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping, and/or buffing
- Sand mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas
- Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, equipment and practices of the auto body repair
- Knowledge of basic methods of mixing hardeners and reducers
- Able to perform high quality repairs, while keeping in mind on-time status
- Ability to file, grind and sand repaired surface, using power tools and hand tools
Qualifications:
- 3 years auto painting experience required.
- Strong communication and interaction skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- This position will require the technician to view and focus on imperfections both up close and at a distance, as well as identify variances in color.
