Job Description

QUALIFIED COLLISION REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Position Overview Auto Body Collision Technician is responsible for performing vehicle collision and mechanical repairs as assigned in accordance with the dealer and factory standards. This position interacts daily with, Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Associates, Service Managers, Collision Managers and other Associates. Must be able to perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency, accuracy and quality Communicate with Parts Department and writers to obtain the needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Perform all sheet metal and plastic repairs according to estimate Perform multiple types of welding, unibody/frame measuring & alignment, and oxidizing operations
  • Operate all equipment in Collision Center in a safe manner Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner Document all work performed as soon as the job is completed Uses basic mathematical skills to solve simple equations for mixing chemicals Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes High School diploma or equivalent
  • ASE and/or I-Car certification (preferred)
  • At least two years automotive experience
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
