Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician, where your expertise in automotive structural repair and cosmetic restoration will bring vehicles back to their original glory! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with advanced welding equipment, sheet metal fabrication, and auto painting techniques. As a vital member of our collision repair center, you'll utilize your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to perform high-quality repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair techniques Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, and other components with precision and care Apply auto restoration techniques to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to showroom condition Use auto estimating software to assess damage and determine repair scope; communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks and perform heavy lifting safely during the repair process Experience 2 years experience working as an automotive body technician Skilled in MIG welding, fabrication repair techniques, automotive welding equipment operation, and sheet metal work Knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration, and cosmetic refinishing processes Familiarity with auto painting methods such as airless paint spraying and automotive body refinishing techniques Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and assembly equipment.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour
