We are currently looking to hire a full-time Body Shop Mechanic. We are primarily a full-service collision repair facility and work on vehicles from pickup trucks to buses and up to class 9 vehicles. We also install and service hydraulic equipment like liftgates, booms, and hoist/dumps. As an upfitter, we modify existing fleet vehicles with additional equipment, but also fabricate from scratch to meet our customer's request. 5+ years of prior industry work experience is needed but we are a team and will help develop any candidate to build their abilities in this field. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The candidate will need to be able to work on their own or as a team. The ability to diagnose repairs on both body/physical damage to vehicle and successfully plan the repair is needed.

Other requirements include:

• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Work in a noisy environment
• Understanding and use of personal protective equipment
• Operate basic tools and desire to learn how to use the following shop tools: o Welder, grinder, band saw, calipers, plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene torch, DA, rivet gun, floor puller
• Comfortably operate medium and heavy-duty vehicles
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Read repair orders and design schematics
• Teardown, repair and reassemble vehicles Your daily duties will include working by yourself on solo repairs in light engine/mechanical diagnostics, hydraulics, suspension (including overhauls, trailer alignments, wheel end work [hubs, bearings, seals, etc.

]), electrical wiring, brakes and other essential diagnostics. Will also need to be able to work as a team with other techs to perform larger repairs. 5+ years of prior industry work experience is needed but we are a team and will help develop any candidate to build their abilities in this field. The position is full-time Monday-Friday. Paid vacation and sick leave. This is an hourly pay scale starting at $25 to $40 per hour depending on experiance. There will also be the opportunity to transition into a flat rate pay scale if the employee can show it would be mutually beneficial. Starting pay is determined on experience.
