Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs, structural restorations, and cosmetic refinishing to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Repair and restore vehicle bodies using industry-standard techniques, including welding, sanding, and painting. Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal fabrication, utilizing MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication repair techniques. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs. Conduct auto body refinishing tasks such as auto painting, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repair to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including bumpers, panels, auto glass, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Apply auto restoration techniques by working with sheet metal, automotive parts installation, and heavy lifting as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets or exceeds expectations. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive repair procedures. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication techniques used in automotive structural repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment. Knowledge of auto restoration processes including auto body repair, auto painting, detailing, and automotive parts installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on automotive cosmetic repairs and refinishing work. Good communication skills for working with team members and providing exceptional customer service. Dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic experience is highly valued. Pay:
$1,100.00 - $1,800.00 per week
