The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various auto body repair techniques. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Auto Body Technician will work with power tools, perform auto painting, and utilize airless paint spraying techniques to achieve the desired finish. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs using auto estimating techniques. Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed. Perform welding and soldering tasks to repair metal parts of vehicles. Execute auto painting tasks, including surface preparation and application of paint using airless paint spraying methods. Install auto glass and ensure proper sealing for safety and functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools effectively. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and techniques for assessing vehicle damage. Experience in welding, soldering, and assembling vehicle components is preferred. Proficiency in auto painting techniques, including airless paint spraying, is highly desirable.
