In this role, you will be responsible for professionally applying Paint Protection Film (PPF) to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that enhances vehicle appearance and provides long-lasting protection. Your expertise in automotive surface preparation, film installation, and finishing techniques will be essential in delivering exceptional results for our customers. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of PPF. Measure and cut PPF accurately using hand tools, power tools, and specialized cutting equipment to fit various vehicle contours. Install Paint Protection Film with precision, ensuring smooth application free of bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections. Use automotive buffing, polishing, and detailing techniques to achieve a high-quality finish on installed films. Conduct surface testing and inspection post-installation to verify quality standards are met. Maintain all tools and equipment, including grinders, spray guns, sanders, and airless paint sprayers, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly. Follow safety protocols diligently by utilizing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment during all phases of installation. Assist with minor auto body repairs or touch-ups as needed to prepare vehicles for PPF application. Provide excellent customer service by explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Keep detailed records of work performed and communicate progress effectively within the team. Experience Proven dealership experience or automotive service background preferred. Hands-on experience with welding, auto body repair, or auto restoration is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and surface preparation techniques. Skilled in using hand tools such as sanders, grinders, spray guns, buffing pads, and masking tape for surface prep and finishing. Experience with auto painting, coating spray guns, auto glass installation, and detailing is advantageous. Familiarity with automotive buffing, sanding, surface preparation masking, and auto painting processes. Knowledge of automotive surface preparation standards and safety procedures including respiratory protection. Ability to lift heavy objects safely during installation or repair tasks.
