Auto Body Prepper/Technician for Vehicle Wrap Company Gatorwraps, Inc Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $17 - $22 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Automotive body disassembly Teamwork Mechanical assembly Automotive parts installation Driver's License Attention to detail Driving Vinyl Auto body repair Full Job Description Gatorwraps is hiring an experienced vehicle prep to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment in our Ontario location. Must be experienced in dissemble of vehicles and have references to be considered for interview. You will need to have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and have the ability to travel out of town/state or/and to installs offsite. Applicant will disassemble vehicles and prepare other projects for vinyl installation. Vinyl and decal removal. Please ensure resumes are detailed with experience and prior work history to be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to and from installation worksites, if necessary.
- Remove Vinyl and glue from Vehicles
- Be constantly aware of projects and due dates.
- Monitor quality of projects. Attention to detail is a must.
- Assist in maintaining neat and orderly work sites and work station.
- Perform all duties in a manner consistent with the spirit of teamwork.
- Perform all additional tasks as required by management.
- Experience required (at least 2+ years).
- Able to disassemble and reassemble vehicles.
- Replace parts. Must have own tools.
- Replace quarter panels and door skins.
- Keeping shop clean at all times. Qualifications
- Car mechanical experience
- Possess a "Make-it-happen" attitude.
- Body Shop experience (Recommended)
- Creative in Problem Solving and Highly Organized
- Previous experience installing graphics on windows or vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Willingness to assume responsibility and act independently.
- Experience with Vehicle Wraps and Installation of Vinyl a Plus.
- Reliability and honesty are a must.
