Certification Driver's License Attention to detail Auto restoration Full Job Description We are a professional collision repair and automotive restoration shop focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. We work on a wide variety of vehicles and repairs, ranging from everyday collision damage to higher-end and specialty vehicles. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Autobody Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, works efficiently, and is capable of completing repairs to a high standard from teardown through final body preparation. Responsibilities Perform collision and autobody repairs according to repair plans and manufacturer procedures. Disassemble vehicles and identify damaged components. Repair and replace damaged body panels, including quarter panels, doors, fenders, hoods, bumpers, and structural components. Perform panel straightening, metal finishing, dent repair, and body filler work as needed. Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and related metal repair procedures. Perform structural and frame repairs when qualified and properly equipped. Test-fit replacement panels and components to ensure proper gaps, alignment, and fitment. Remove and reinstall exterior and interior components as required for repairs. Prepare repaired panels to a paint-ready standard. Work with estimators and management to identify additional or hidden damage discovered during repairs. Document supplemental damage and parts needs during the repair process. Follow OEM repair procedures and shop repair standards. Maintain awareness of sensors, cameras, wiring, airbags, and ADAS components when performing repairs. Inspect completed work for proper fit, finish, panel gaps, and overall quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly maintain and care for shop tools and equipment. Communicate with management regarding repair progress, delays, parts issues, or additional work needed. Assist other technicians and team members when necessary to keep jobs moving efficiently. Qualifications Previous professional autobody or collision repair experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive body construction and collision repair procedures. Experience with panel replacement and sheet metal repair. Welding experience preferred. Ability to properly align body panels and achieve consistent factory-style panel gaps. Ability to identify hidden collision damage during teardown and repair. Familiarity with modern vehicle electronics and ADAS-equipped vehicles is a plus. Ability to read and follow repair estimates and OEM procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently while also working well as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and organized. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to safely lift automotive parts, equipment, and materials associated with collision repair. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: I-CAR training or certifications MIG/MAG welding Spot welding Aluminum repair Structural/frame repair Frame measuring systems High-strength and ultra-high-strength steel repair Quarter-panel replacement Unibody repair Luxury and European vehicles Tesla or EV collision repair ADAS-related collision repair procedures Restoration or custom bodywork What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who cares about the finished product. Speed is important in a production environment, but repairs must be performed correctly. The right technician should be able to look at a repair beyond simply replacing parts and pay attention to details such as: Panel alignment Consistent body gaps Proper weld locations and procedures Metal finishing Corrosion protection Factory appearance Proper assembly Preventing unnecessary damage during disassembly and reassembly We value technicians who communicate problems early rather than allowing an issue to make it further into the repair process.

Compensation Pay:

Competitive and based on experience, skill level, certifications, and production ability. Compensation structure and benefits will be discussed during the interview. Schedule Full-time position.
