Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and bring vehicles back to life with precision, skill, and professionalism! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise will ensure each vehicle is safe, visually appealing, and ready for the road. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive repair equipment in a controlled, supportive environment where your craftsmanship makes a real difference. This shop is quality based, not production based. We take our time in doing it right the first time. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, repair, and replace vehicle body panels. Conduct auto body repairs involving auto restoration projects and Collision repairs. Install automotive parts such as doors, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and care. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed and support auto estimating processes by assessing damage and recommending repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards; heavy lifting may be required during parts handling or assembly tasks. Help with facility organizing and cleaning. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive structural repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, and auto restoration processes. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, automotive painting equipment, and other shop machinery. Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair methods including auto painting, detailing, and automotive body refinishing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina is essential for this hands-on role. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all repairs performed. Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing exceptional customer service. Familiarity with auto estimating software or processes is a plus; mechanic experience is advantageous but not required. Join us to turn damaged vehicles into works of art!
