Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct auto painting, sanding, and refinishing using airless paint spraying and sanding tools to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and other components with hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper fit and function. Execute automotive cosmetic repairs including detailing, auto restoration, and surface preparation for optimal appearance. Use auto estimating tools to assess damages accurately and communicate repair scopes effectively with customers. Lift heavy components safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal fabrication techniques. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques for various vehicle repairs. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, automotive welding equipment, and auto painting equipment. Familiarity with auto glass replacement, auto restoration processes, and automotive cosmetic repair methods. Excellent customer service skills paired with auto estimating abilities to ensure clear communication and quality service delivery.
