Ongoing I-CAR Training Requirements:

Dis-assembly of vehicle in order to assist estimators Welding, panel replacement, structural, body filler Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time Adhering to high quality standards Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair Collision Repair Industry experience required Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed Own tools preferably Must have valid driver license Must be able to work multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Be able to lift 50 pounds and able to stand on your feet for long periods. Position will require range of motion movements such as: kneel, crouch, stoop and bend. Be able to tolerate moderate noise levels. Follow all safety requirements Must be able to pass the pre-employment background and physical exam Strong interpersonal skills and excellent work ethics. Bilingual a plus.
