Collision Technician (Auto Body Technician) Commerce City, Colorado Full-Time Competitive Pay | Confidential Hiring Opportunity A busy, well-established collision repair facility in Commerce City, Colorado is seeking an experienced Collision Technician (Auto Body Technician) to join its growing production team. If you're an experienced body technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs, follows OEM repair procedures, and wants to work in a shop with consistent volume and modern equipment, this is an opportunity worth exploring. You'll work alongside estimators, painters, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining quality and productivity goals. What You'll Do Inspect damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair strategies Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs Repair and replace damaged body panels and structural components Disassemble and reassemble vehicles accurately Operate frame machines and computerized measuring systems Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications Read and interpret repair plans and blueprints Collaborate with estimators, painters, and parts personnel to keep repairs moving Participate in daily production meetings Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Produce high-quality repairs while meeting production goals Qualifications Previous collision repair/body technician experience required Strong knowledge of structural and non-structural collision repair Experience using frame equipment and measuring systems Ability to read repair plans and OEM repair procedures Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills I-CAR Welding Certification preferred I-CAR, ASE, or OEM certifications are a plus Valid driver's license preferred Positive attitude and strong work ethic Must successfully pass a background check Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and productivity Consistent, year-round workload Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Paid OEM and industry training Ongoing professional development Advancement opportunities within a growing organization The Opportunity We're looking for technicians who care about quality, work well in a team environment, and take pride in repairing vehicles the right way.
