In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body repair techniques. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive top-quality service and exceptional vehicle restoration. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to automotive excellence, utilizing your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge to make a real difference every day. Responsibilities Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, including sanding, auto painting, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and assembly tasks. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, panels, and other components while ensuring proper fitment and alignment. Apply auto estimating skills to assess damage, prepare repair plans, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair scope. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to bodywork and mechanical components as needed, including heavy lifting and working with automotive parts installation. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role with dealership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques using automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other auto body refinishing tools. Ability to perform auto painting, auto restoration, detailing, and auto glass installation with attention to quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods; comfort working with sheet metal and automotive parts in a fast-paced environment.
