In this role, you will provide essential support to our automotive body technicians by assisting with, disassembly, blue printing, reassembly and various repairs. Your contributions will help ensure high-quality vehicle repairs and structural fixes are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive body repair and collision within a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Assist automotive body technicians with vehicle repairs, including diassembly with blue printing, reassembly, and various repairs Support welding repair processes such as prepping for weld on panel replacement and automotive welding equipment operation. Resistance and Mig Help with sheet metal work and automotive structural repairs Operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and other equipment safely and effectively Aid in auto repair by performing minor repairs and assisting with parts installation Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored Qualifications Previous experience in dealership or automotive repair environments preferred Knowledge of repair techniques required as well as mig and resistance welding Familiarity with automotive parts installation and auto body repair processes Experience working with sheet metal, automotive cosmetic repair, and auto painting highly desirable Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and sanding tools safely Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on a team and support lead tech Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a fast-paced setting Join our team as a Body Tech Helper to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of automotive repair!
