Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening using advanced techniques and tools. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to secure sheet metal components and restore vehicle frames. Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components to meet specific repair requirements, demonstrating strong fabrication skills. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment and ensure flawless finishes through meticulous detailing. Replace or repair auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards are met. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely and efficiently during various repair processes. Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects, vehicle maintenance tasks, and auto estimating to deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including auto painting, auto glass installation, and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment such as airless paint sprayers. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs. Knowledge of automotive repair standards, auto restoration processes, and auto painting techniques is essential.
