Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Utilize welding and soldering techniques to repair metal components. Work with sheet metal to fabricate and install new parts as needed. Conduct auto estimating to assess damage and provide accurate repair quotes. Restore vehicles through painting, including airless paint spraying techniques. Assemble various vehicle components post-repair to ensure proper functionality. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair or related field is preferred. Proficiency in mechanic skills and knowledge of automotive systems. Familiarity with auto restoration processes is a plus. Experience in auto glass installation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
