The Boyd Group is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our Automotive department. In this performance-driven, safety-focused role, you will repair collision-damaged vehicles, including body panel repair and replacement, frame and structural work, and refinishing preparation. You will follow standardized repair processes, OEM procedures and quality standards to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. Working in our modern facilities, you'll collaborate with estimators and painters, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support exceptional customer satisfaction while growing your skills through structured training and career development. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel repair and replacement Conduct frame and structural repairs using appropriate equipment and measurement systems Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair and refinishing Follow OEM repair procedures and company-standardized processes Prepare repaired areas for paint, including sanding, filling, and priming Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and pre-accident condition Work closely with estimators, painters, and parts staff to meet production timelines Use and maintain tools, lifts, and equipment safely and correctly Document repair operations as required by company and insurer standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area Required Skills Collision repair and panel replacement Frame and structural repair MIG welding for auto body Plastic and bumper repair Body filler and sanding techniques Use of measuring systems and frame racks Automotive refinishing prep Automotive glass and trim R&IOEM repair procedure interpretation Estimating system familiarity (CCC, Mitchell, Audatex)
