The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring high-quality repairs, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role requires a strong background in automotive body refinishing and repair, along with ASE certification in painting & refinishing and structural & damage. The manager will ensure that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Must be ASE certified in Painting & Refinishing as well as Structural & Damage. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities within the auto body and paint shop, including automotive body refinishing and repair tasks. Oversee the repair process from initial assessment to final finishing, ensuring quality workmanship. Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and customer satisfaction. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Train, mentor, and evaluate shop technicians to promote skill development and high performance. Monitor inventory levels of supplies, paints, and equipment, ensuring proper stock management. Collaborate with insurance adjusters, customers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. Implement quality control procedures to guarantee repairs meet industry standards. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Experience Proven experience in automotive body refinishing and auto body repair. Must be ASE certified in Painting & Refinishing as well as Structural & Damage. Prior management or supervisory experience in an auto body or collision repair shop is preferred. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, paint application, and damage assessment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
