We are looking for a skilled Marine Fiberglass Technician to join our Naples team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, understands proper fiberglass and gelcoat repair techniques, and can produce clean, professional results. What You'll Be Doing Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs on boat hulls, decks, consoles, hardtops, and other marine components. Repair cracks, chips, holes, delamination, and other fiberglass damage. Prepare surfaces through grinding, sanding, fairing, and finishing. Lay fiberglass mat, cloth, resin, and other composite materials. Mix, match, apply, sand, and polish gelcoat for professional-quality finishes. Perform fiberglass laminating, molding, and custom fabrication as needed. Inspect damaged areas and determine the appropriate repair process. Work with the service team to complete projects accurately and within expected timelines. Properly use and maintain grinders, sanders, polishers, spray equipment, and other fiberglass repair tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Document work performed and communicate project progress with management. What We're Looking For Previous fiberglass, gelcoat, boat repair, or composite repair experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of fiberglass materials, resins, gelcoat, fillers, and repair techniques. Experience with sanding, fairing, polishing, laminating, and finish work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to diagnose damage and determine the proper repair approach. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a marine environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, sanding, grinding, and working in confined areas when necessary. Reliable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Experience We'd Love to See Marine gelcoat color matching and finishing. Structural fiberglass repair. Custom fiberglass fabrication and molding. Boat hull, deck, transom, or hardtop repair. Experience working on high-end boats and yachts.
